I'm helping out, again!

I made three cards today for various challenges so that I can help increase the Bingo numbers. I'm posting early because I'm taking DH to a doctor's appointment early in the morning.

Sketches! (by Tamara}

This card is for Tamara's Recipe Challenge #4, which you can see on her blog linked above. I went for a very minimalist look here, not my usual style, but I still like it. Of course, the recipe dictated the basic card and I just stuck with the basics. Thanks to Tamara for this challenge. The card base is a lime green, probably from Ms paper pack. The pink is Pixie Pink by SU. I stamped the image on white from PTI (love that cardstock). This little tree is from Hero Arts Clear Stamps for Christmas this year. I added the velvety rick-rack, also from Ms and some Stickles for the glitter factor.

CC133 and SC143

This card actually fulfills the requirements for the two challenges at SCS for the Color Combination and the Card Sketch. You can see the details at the link above.

The colours of Old Olive, More Mustard and Bashful Blue actually go quite well together, I thought. The sweating turkey is by Hambo Stamps, the green ribbon is from Archivers at MOA. The sentiment I made up using Doodlebug Designs 'Simply Sweet' rub-on letters and is attached with eyelets set using my Karen Foster Scrapatus (another fave tool). I added the black glitter yarn for a bit of 'pop' and it worked.

Penguin Christmas

This card wasn't for any challenge, I just was dying to use this Penguin paper by Creative Imaginations. I started with a card base of Real Red, added the pp. I stamped this baby penguin (DH says it's a chick, but I want it to be a penguin, so it is) on plain white c/s, coloured it with Prismacolor Markers. It's from the Carolyn King Collection by Gina K. Designs. I then added some white Fun Flock to make it look real fluffy and mounted it on some green Bazzill cardstock which I cut using my Giga Scalloped Oval punch. Then came the red sheer ribbon and it was done.

Now on to Thursday's Bingo numbers.

Barb, really cute cards; I especially like the turkey card. What a cute stamp, and I love the fibers framing the main image. Sorry that I haven't been helping out posting cards; I have been packing like crazy, and we leave to go out of state to start house hunting on Saturday! Crazy but exciting times. I'm over half way there on my bingo card.
